A fan at the PGA Championship in Louisville sent X-users into a frenzy after picking up a snake in Valhalla on Sunday.
In a video from Old Row Golf, a fan in a blue polo was seen picking up the reptile on the golf course. After grabbing the snake by its head, the fan placed it on the grass and motioned for it to slide away.
While he received an ovation from surrounding fans, the cheeky bystander was also praised by others on social media.
“Southern boys are built differently,” said one user, while another pointed out how “ballsy” the act was.
A third fan commented on the clip with two laughing and crying emojis and two flexed biceps emojis behind them.

Users praised the fan for his brave act, while others were not happy about it
‘Yes, I’m not a fan. No thanks,” a fourth user countered.
Meanwhile, someone joked that he “brought it back to church, I think.”
Another user praised the fan, saying: ‘Looks like it was a pretty good size. Sunbathing.’
The snake wasn’t the only unwanted visitor that had to be removed Sunday afternoon. Hours later, a much larger snake slithered onto the second hole of the course.
Like the man from the viral video, another bystander – later identified as Jacob of Shelbyville – grabbed the snake from the greenery and placed it back in the woods.
