PFA launch investigation into claims that an A-League manager HIT his player during a training session
Professional Footballers Australia officials are investigating claims that an A-League manager punched one of his players in a training session this week.
The alleged incident is understood to have occurred during a training match in which the manager was involved.
“The PFA has received reports of a suspected incident and is investigating,” a PFA spokesman said.
A club official allegedly involved said he was “unable to comment” when contacted.
After being made aware of the matter, A-League boss Danny Townsend said on Thursday afternoon that he was “awaiting comment” from the club allegedly involved.
