Last year, PewDiePie was forced to apologize after he was criticized for uploading a video in which he appeared to mock a deaf woman using American Sign Language.
The video creator came under fire after posting his most recent YouTube video for his millions of subscribers.
But he responded by saying he had “no idea” the woman was deaf and was only making fun of her long fingernails, adding that it was an “honest mistake.”
In the video, titled My Dog Cringes at TikToks, PewDiePie is seen playing various clips from the social media app which he later mocks.
One clip, which has now been removed from her video, shows deaf TikToker Scarlet May telling a story in American Sign Language.
After a couple of seconds, PewDiePie stops the video and says, ‘No, I’m not listening to this.’
He then makes fun of Mrs. May’s nails before comparing them to her dog’s.
Ms May responded to her video saying it was “very weird and very unnecessary”.

PewDiePie then takes his dog, Maya, and begins to mimic Mrs. May by telling a story, using his paws to copy Mrs. May’s hand movements.
It was slammed by critics on YouTube and Twitter, who reuploaded the clip along with comments like: “Isn’t Pewdiepie making fun of a deaf woman?”
‘So why isn’t anyone talking about pewdiepie making fun of a deaf black woman?’ said one person, sharing the video.
Another wrote: “Pewdiepie making fun of a deaf tiktok creator for logging into his videos simply because he has long fingernails…as if the guy couldn’t be worse.”

‘So how do I feel? I feel like it was very strange and unnecessary, but at the same time it didn’t surprise me, I’m used to it.
She adds that one of the reasons she uploads videos to TikTok is to show that deaf people can have long fingernails while using sign language.
Kiss: The parents-to-be spent a lot of quality time together and documented Marzia’s growth.
She said: “But then a great creator comes along and takes us back a million steps, so it’s very frustrating.”
However, the TikToker then says, “Maybe he didn’t know I was doing sign language, maybe he just didn’t like my long fingernails.” It’s okay, a lot of people don’t like them…
“If that was the case, he should have said ‘Oh, I don’t like his nails’ and skipped the video.”
“But instead he decided to stop the video and proceeded to taunt me with sign language, which shows he knew I was signing.”
She adds: ‘If you made a mistake, admit it. Not only can you make fun of deaf people who have already been struggling for years…
Sorry: Last year, PewDiePie was forced to apologize after he was criticized for uploading a video in which he appeared to mock a deaf woman using American Sign Language.
“I really tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, like he just didn’t know or didn’t really know, even though it’s 2022 and there are deaf people and sign language all over social media. But the taunt of the signal and the voice like… you definitely have to know.’
He ends by saying ‘we all live and learn’ and adds: ‘If he didn’t know before, he definitely knows now!’
PewDiePie then posted below the reuploaded video to explain the situation saying, ‘Hey, just to clear a few things up: I edited out the clip with the girl with the long nails.
‘I had no idea she was deaf, but a little silly of me not to realize it. Still watching the clip, I just made fun of her long fingernails.
‘The voice I made for my dog is the same voice I’ve given him for years. (edit: …and making my dog’s paws move was pushing people who were always dancing or doing some movement on tiktok, which is a running theme throughout the video).
‘Anyway, honest mistake, my bad.’
