Ten years ago, Harrison Burrows was at Wembley cheering on his Peterborough heroes as they lifted the Football League Trophy.
Ten years later, the Posh fan and boyhood captain wrote himself into club legend by scoring the most dramatic late brace in the final of the same competition against Wycombe.
“I’m a little speechless right now, but just so happy,” Burrows said. ‘It’s a dream come true.’
After 86 goalless minutes, Burrows thought he had won the match when he fired past Franco Ravizzoli.
But just as Peterborough’s name was etched on the trophy, Wycombe’s Dale Taylor equalized shortly after coming on with a stunning 25-yard volley.

Peterborough hearts were breaking but Burrows convinced his players and when a corner was headed back to him, the left-back floated a ball towards the back post.
All 42,252 players at Wembley gasped as the side pressed on before walking over the hapless Ravizzoli to hand the glory to Darren Ferguson.
“Fantastic, what a day,” said a jubilant Ferguson. ‘What a feeling, one of the best. The fact that this young team managed to find a way after the late equalizer was quite special.’
“I’m very disappointed because I thought we deserved something, but I’m proud of the way the team played,” Wycombe boss Matt Bloomfield added.
