A popular Queensland radio personality faces a series of heinous allegations of child sexual abuse.
Peter Lang, a breakfast presenter who had a long career with 92.7 MixFM on the Sunshine Coast, has been charged with multiple offences, including rape and abuse involving children under 14.
He is expected to stand trial in the new year.

Lang, who has also been involved in charity work, has yet to enter a plea.
The charges he faces include two counts of rape and seven counts of indecent treatment of a child under 14. Courier mail reported.
He has been charged with 11 counts of carnal knowledge of a child under 16 and two counts of indecent treatment of a girl under 16.
Lang was a familiar fixture on the Sunshine Coast airwaves for 20 years.
His trial will begin at Maroochydore District Court on March 2, 2024.
