Peter Kay called out to a rowdy fan watching his stand-up show at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena on Saturday.
The comedian paused his live show to call the guest an “asshole” while causing a scene in the crowd, before being kicked off the show.
Fans were divided on the move as some praised the funnyman while others called the decision “harsh.”

And during this weekend’s show, an audience member appeared to be rioting in the crowd, prompting the comedian to interact with him.
Speaking about the concert-goer, he told the audience: ‘Oh, it’s starting. He’s a bit of an asshole, he’s a bit annoying. I like to laugh, I’m a comedian, I like to laugh, but I can tell that other people are getting a little… now’
“He likes to be the center of attention, I know, but I’m on stage,” he continued.

Many attendees took to TikTok to share clips of the moment, which showed the guest being escorted out of the arena by security after causing a stir.
And the moment left fans divided as they disagreed on whether or not Peter was right to kick him out via Twitter.
One user agreed with the decision, tweeting: ‘@peterkay_co_uk Absolutely top entertainment at the M&S Bank Arena last night. It’s also an expert way of dealing with a jerk, I think 13,000 people were glad to see him escorted.
Another agreed, sharing that everyone around the guest was “mad” when he endorsed Peter.
But taking the opposite view, another shared: “@peterkay_co_uk first half was fun tonight until you decided to kick that guy out for asking for an autograph, doesn’t look good mate, thought you were one of us.”
The comedian will close his tour in London at the end of this year, after just over half a year touring the country with his stand-up show.
