Peter Crouch calls his wife Abbey Clancy a ‘psychopath’ for her behavior before they got engaged
Peter Crouch savagely called wife Abbey Clancy a “psychopath” for her antics before they got engaged during their latest podcast.
The former professional footballer, 42, revealed how the model, 37, hilariously drew the ring of her dreams when they were dating and handed it to him.
Peter joked that Abbey more than “dropped a few hints” about the “pear-shaped” diamond she’d like to receive when they get engaged.
Abbey denied that she was giving hints, instead insisting that she was merely “scribbling” when Pete came over to see what she was up to.
Reminiscing about the story to listeners on his The Therapy Crouch podcast, Pete said: “I had already bought the ring. And I remember ordering the ring, it took me a long time, but I remember you dropped some hints about the court of our courtship…

He continued: “You wanted a pear-shaped diamond and I think you actually drew it once, psycho!”
Defending herself, Abbey replied, “I must have been doodling and you must have come.”
Pete quipped, ‘What? You were randomly scribbling about looking at diamonds.
Abbey said, ‘I’m not going to draw a ring.’
Peter replied, ‘You drew a ring and gave it to me and said that’s the one I want.’
While Abbey replied: “Obviously you didn’t do it to scale.”
Abbey and Peter, who have been married for 12 years and share four children, launched their first podcast together and so far it has been a hit.
The couple have four children together: Sophia, 11, Liberty, seven, Johnny, four, and Jack, three.

During a recent episode, the couple joked about their sex life when a fan messaged them saying they only do it every two weeks.
Abbey read the story: ‘My partner and I have been seeing each other for about five years. Initially our sex life was amazing and we couldn’t keep our hands off each other.
“But naturally, as the years have passed, things have started to slow down a bit. This has gotten worse in the last six months and we’re lucky if we get it once every two weeks.
Abbey later added: ‘That sounds great. I think he’s lucky, he’.

While the former striker joked that the anonymous listener was actually him, he said: “Peter, 42, from Surrey is that one.”
Abbey continued, “I think it should grow, once every two weeks, what is she complaining about?”
Peter added, “Oh my gosh, it’s putting action all over the store!”
It came after Abbey expressed her fury at Peter after he claimed reaching the Champions League final with Liverpool was better than the birth of their children.
He started by saying: ‘Having kids isn’t even close to the feeling you get when you play football.’
Then, reaching for his mobile phone, he added: “I’m actually going to try to find this on my phone now because it was actually disgusting.”
Abbey said: ‘I think he’s lucky. I think it should grow, once every two weeks, what are you complaining about!’ While the former striker, 42, added: “Oh my God, he’s putting action all over the store!”
Peter tried to defend himself, saying, “Well, this is something you know we ran into, I think when you’re potentially in the public eye, you know that stories and words can be misconstrued, hopefully.”
Ignoring him, Abbey read a headline on her phone that read: “Peter Crouch says reaching Champions League final was better than having his children.”
He turned to Peter: ‘Three days ago you said this.’
Peter replied: ‘Yeah, but obviously I said it a while ago, they put it on 3 days ago.’
Abbey interrupted: ‘So you said it.’
Peter admitted: ‘Well vaguely’.
Raging – It comes after Abbey expressed her fury at her husband Peter after he claimed reaching the Champions League final with Liverpool was better than the birth of their children.
Reading another article, Abbey said: “Peter Crouch risked angering his wife Abbey Clancy by saying that Liverpool’s path to the Champions League final was better than the birth of their four children.”
The striker only came on as a substitute, you weren’t even a real player, you weren’t even involved. How can you even say that?
Peter replied: “I was the top scorer for Liverpool in the run-up to that final, at the level of Kaká.”
‘If I had played in the final, we would have won it and I could have become the top scorer. Kaka would not have existed.
Abbey interrupted, “But you didn’t and you didn’t play, so there you go.”
Not happy: the model confronted the former footballer in his comments on his podcast, The Therapy Crouch
In October, Peter explained: ‘Look, I love my two girls and my two boys, but I have to be honest: reaching the Champions League final is better.
‘Let me explain. You know you’re going to have a baby for nine months.
‘Sure, it’s wonderful when they arrive, and they are healthy and everything is fine with your partner. But there is no sudden shock. There is no explosion of noise around you.
“You don’t feel like taking your shirt off and running around the hospital, and if you did and went into a massive knee slide, it wouldn’t be into a sea of limbs like when I scored for Spurs against Manchester City.” to take us to Europe.
‘It would just be a tired night porter and someone bringing a Lucozade for their poor grandmother.’
