Peter Andre, 51, reveals pregnant wife Emily MacDonagh, 34, is suffering Braxton Hicks contractions as she nears her due date ahead of welcoming the couple’s third child

Peter Andre revealed on his Instagram Stories that heavily pregnant Emily MacDonagh was experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions as she approached her due date on Friday.

The singer, 51, posted a video of Dr. Emily, 34, showed off her blossoming baby bump which she cradled before welcoming the couple’s third child.

In the clip, Peter gushed about his ‘adorable’ wife as he playfully documented the labor pains, calling him ‘Toni Braxtons’ after the famous American singer.

Braxton Hicks occurs towards the end of pregnancy and sees the uterus contract and relax to cause contractions.

“She’s getting a Toni Braxton, guys!” Peter joked when Emily blamed him for her predicament, shouting: ‘It’s because you made me laugh!’.

Peter, who already shares Theo, eight, and Amelia, ten, with his wife, captioned the post: “It’s apparently my fault because I made her laugh I guess.”

The Mystery Girl hitmaker also shares sons Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with ex-wife Katie Price.

It comes after Peter and Emily celebrated his 51st birthday and enjoyed a babymoon at Champneys’ Forest Mere last month.

The couple shared a glimpse of their lavish Hampshire spa stay on Instagram, where Emily showed off her growing baby bump.

She looked stylish in a brown, ribbed, long-sleeved midi dress, which she paired with sky-high black knee-high boots.

Emily showed off her beautiful smile as she posed for a photo while lying on her stomach with Peter.

He dressed smartly in a black blazer and jeans, paired with a crisp white T-shirt.

Taking to his Instagram Story, Peter also shared a photo of himself enjoying a bowl of pasta at dinner.

It comes after Peter ‘faked’ his wife Emily’s pregnancy by strapping heavy melons to his chest and stomach for a bizarre video.

The singer took to Instagram as he shared the experiment with his fans.

The video started with Emily helping Peter tie up the fruit before he struggled to complete a series of daily tasks.

As the video played, he said, “Emily’s belly is quite small and even though these melons may be a bit exaggerated, the melon to bump ratio is, I think we’re pretty good in a way.”

He was seen relaxing on the couch as he got into the car where he suffered painful cramps, struggled to unload the dishwasher and tried to find a comfortable position in bed.

He then summarized afterwards: ‘Oh, I’d be done! I do not do that!’

In another scene, he teetered on heels as he struggled with the weight.

His son Junior, 18, then joked, writing in the comments: “Imagine walking down to your dad with melons tied to himself.”
