This came after Pete’s best friend Sam Thompson revealed they were scolded by the police after causing a scene during their UK Staying Relevant tour.

The Made In Chelsea star exclusively told MailOnline that while driving through Nottingham in their tour bus, which featured giant avatars of the TV stars, they were reported to police for ‘causing a disturbance’.

While the duo were heading to a location in the north of the country on their podcast tour, their fans got wind of their plans to travel around the city by bus.

Sam said that as they approached the city, their fans “went crazy.” They eagerly awaited their arrival and waved and honked as they passed by.

Sam said the police told them they couldn’t have crowds of people reacting this way.

During their tour, Sam and Pete shared clips on Instagram of their fans cheering with excitement as they toured different cities during their tour.

In Sam’s typical carefree attitude, he admitted that he found the whole thing “hilarious” and that he only learned of the police report on Friday, weeks after the tour ended.

While promoting his recent project with Flora Plant, he told MailOnline: ‘Just today we were told… that we have been reported for the tour bus by Nottingham Police.

‘Apparently we caused a stir on the roads, and they were basically like, we can’t have people honking at you all the time, because we had our faces plastered all over the tour bus.

‘And so, as we were driving through Nottingham, there were literally so many cars beeping us and passengers filming us and things like that.

“The drivers were honking to the point where the police in Nottingham got in touch and we thought, guys, we can’t let you drive through Nottingham like that.

‘You’re causing a nuisance on the road, I find that really hilarious.

‘So we actually had to sail around Nottingham. Oh my God. I think it’s far.

‘I mean, neither did we. In a funny way, we were all like, yeah, people know what we’re doing, in a safe way, of course.

‘That was hilarious. So we had to go around and go in a different direction because things were going wild in Nottingham.”
