Pete Davidson CANCELS shows at Beacon Theater in New York City at the last minute: SNL alumni also scraps Pittsburgh show in the New Year due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’

  • Pete Davidson has unexpectedly canceled his solo performances originally scheduled for tonight and tomorrow nights in New York City at the Beacon Theater
  • In addition, future shows in Pittsburgh for the new year have also been halted due to 'unforeseen circumstances'
  • Ticket holders for tonight's shows received a last-minute email notification just a few hours before the scheduled start time

Pete Davidson has suddenly withdrawn from his one-man shows scheduled for tonight and tomorrow night in New York City, along with future dates in Pittsburgh scheduled for the new year.

Those who had booked tickets for the show at New York's Beacon Theater were notified by email just a few hours before the show started.

The venue tweeted the show's cancellation just two hours before the event was set to begin, while performances in Pennsylvania were suspended at lunchtime on Friday.

'Please note that Pete Davidson's performances scheduled to take place at the Beacon Theater on Friday 22 December and Saturday 23 December have been cancelled.'

Anyone who has purchased tickets will automatically receive a refund.

Davidson was on SNL from 2014 to 2022 and was one of the youngest cast members in the show's history.

The Staten Island Native has appeared in several films and is known for his high-profile relationships with the likes of Ariana Grande and Kim Kardashian.

In June, the actor checked into rehab after struggling with borderline personality disorder and PTSD.

“Pete regularly goes to rehab for 'tune-ups' and to take a mental break, so that's what happens,” Page six reported at the time.

In late July, Davidson was spotted at a pizzeria in Florida after spending part of the month in rehab.

This summer he was also involved in a car accident with ex-girlfriend Chase Sui-Wonders. He was charged with reckless driving.

He was behind the wheel when he slammed his black GMC SUV into a wall at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.

Later that year, he performed a few shows in Florida as part of his comedy comeback before announcing he would be touring alongside John Mulaney, 40, and Jon Stewart, 60.

In October, Davidson hosted the season premiere of SNL with musical guest Ice Spice.
