Mystery surrounds of the disappearance of a young woman who left a busy shopping centre in a black LandCruiser

The desperate search for a young woman last seen in a dark 4WD two days ago has prompted a frantic appeal from her family.

Mallory Munn, 22, was reported missing on Saturday after she failed to return home from the Wanneroo Shopping Center in Perth’s north on Friday evening.

Since then, she has had no contact with her family and has not used her bank card.

Police and family are concerned for Ms Munn’s welfare as she has an intellectual disability.

She was captured on CCTV getting into a dark-coloured Toyota Landcruiser at the shopping center at around 9pm on Friday evening.

Ms Munn has red hair cut in a bob and was last seen wearing a black shirt, black trousers and carrying a white handbag and a pink backpack.

Ms Munn’s mother shared a plea on Sunday for her daughter to return home safely, along with the most recent photo taken on Thursday

“The last photo of her was taken on Thursday and she just had her nails done,” she posted on Facebook.

“Mallory, please come home.

“Everyone is worried about you and looking for you!”

Anyone with information on Mallory’s whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
