Family’s desperate plea for missing father-of-two as tearful sister says his sudden disappearance comes ‘out of nowhere’

The family of a Perth father-of-two, who has been missing since Tuesday, have made a desperate plea for his whereabouts, describing the disappearance as completely strange.
Adam Faria was last seen at a petrol station on the Canning Highway in Perth’s southern suburbs on the day he unusually failed to show up for work in the port city of Fremantle.
Mr Faria’s sister, Chantelle, said the 34-year-old had two daughters who desperately needed him.

“Adam, if you see this right now, please just come home, your family and friends love you so much and there are so many people who care and love you,” she told 7 News.
“You have two little girls who really need you to come home, so please just come home.
“Whatever you’re going through, you don’t have to do this alone. Please come home or just contact one of us so we know you’re okay.”
Chantelle said her brother’s disappearance was “a thousand percent out of the blue.”

The 34-year-old would travel to Singapore with his wife and children on Friday
“It doesn’t look like him at all, it doesn’t suit his character,” she said.

Mr Faria’s phone was picked up Tuesday night near the Serpentine and Jarrahdale area, about an hour south of Perth.
He has been described as being about 6 feet 8 inches (182 cm) tall with a slim build, black hair and brown eyes.
WA Police said he could be traveling in a silver Toyota Corolla hatch and anyone with information is urged to contact them.
