Three people dead and two more fighting for their lives after car plows into suburban home

Three people have died and another two are in hospital after a car crashed into the side of a house in a Perth suburb.

Emergency services were called to reports that a car left the road and crashed into the back wall of a house on Orrong Rd in Carlisle at around 5.10am on Saturday.

Three adults in the vehicle were treated for their critical injuries by St John Ambulance paramedics, but sadly died at the scene.

Two more adults who were in the car were taken to Royal Perth Hospital to be treated for their serious injuries.

No one in the home was injured during the incident.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area as Orrong Rd remains closed in both directions between Francisco St and Archer St and will remain closed for a number of hours.

The public is also asked to avoid the area as a number of police and emergency services remain on scene.
