Hundreds of travelers have been evacuated from Perth airport as firefighters arrive on the scene.
Passengers arriving at the Virgin Terminal on Monday were faced with wild scenes as several fire trucks were seen arriving at the international terminal.
A spokeswoman for the fire service and emergency services said a small fire had started in the garbage can in an airport bathroom, but it was completely extinguished.
She said firefighters arrived around 7:20 a.m. and only had to be there for a short time.
