A personal trainer claims he ‘proved him wrong’ by eating Domino’s pizza every day for a month and losing 13 pounds in the process.
Jayden Lee from Portsmouth tried out the ‘unconventional’ diet in a bid to show people they don’t have to give up their favorite foods.
The 18-year-old, who is currently studying for his Level 3 PT qualification, set himself a task: eat a small pizza (9.5 inches) a day for a whole month.
The experiment included all of Jayden’s favorite high-protein classics: Mighty Meat, Tuna Supreme, Meatball Marinara and Pepperoni Passion.
He also managed to give a discount, having spent £255 so far.

Social media users are stunned: Jayden’s videos racked up views on Instagram – his most popular clip was viewed more than 600,000 times.
“Trying a new pizza every day was fun,” Jayden said.
‘I had a terrible relationship with food for a long time and noticed people demonizing certain processed foods.
‘Nutrition shouldn’t have to be restricted simply because you’re trying to lose a little belly fat.
‘I wanted to put my own spin on this challenge and thought: I’ll do it with pizza.
‘My body was fine, my sleep was good, my hunger levels were fine except for a few days, and my energy was good.
‘I had no complaints other than the wait for Domino’s, which was a bit annoying at times.

‘My love for pizza grew stronger during the challenge and I ate every pizza combination you can think of, from meat meal combinations to even tuna on pizza.
“I never felt physically ill, but it was hard.”
Jayden wanted to prove that to lose fat you have to be in a calorie deficit, which you can do even while eating pizza.
He consumed between 2,200 and 2,500 calories per day, leaving him with a 500 calorie deficit, and started his journey weighing 73.3 kg.
A month later, Jayden claims the scale now reads 148 pounds.
The teen initially wanted the experiment to last just 21 days, but later expanded it to all of January.
In addition to pizza slices, he focused on other protein-rich meals, such as banana protein pancakes, chocolate protein oats, scrambled eggs with vegetables and peanut butter on banana and honey bagels.
His eating plan also included air-fried fries with chicken and vegetables, Chicken Big Mac wraps and large bowls of jelly.

Jayden continued to train hard in the gym with five full-body workouts a week

Jayden consumed nutritious, protein-rich, large amounts of food in January
“I’ve been hitting my protein intake every day, as well as my five full-body workouts a week,” he explained.
‘I also tried to do 45 minutes of cardio a day, sometimes doing more or less.
“I ate nutritious, protein-rich, large amounts of food to keep me satisfied and fuel my body.
‘I went for a walk for five to ten minutes after dinner and incorporated a daily walk if possible, and I aimed to sleep (at least) seven hours a night.
“No food was off limits. If I went over my calories for a day, it wasn’t the end of the world.’
And Jayden says it was all pretty easy.
“The challenge was a fun experience,” he added. ‘Foods should not be feared or excluded when trying to reduce fat, but rather included in an overall healthy diet.’
