Perrie Edwards dances to Leigh-Anne Pinnock’s debut solo single

Perrie Edwards danced to former Little Mix bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock’s debut solo single Don’t Say Love in a new TikTok on Monday — as the pair continue to squash feud rumors.

The singer, 29, broke some moves outside as she showed off her figure in a white crop top and baggy beige trousers.

Perrie captioned her supportive post, “I am obsessed with this absolute BANGER! #songofthesummer.’

It comes as fans fear the ladies are starting to drift apart and a feud is brewing after Perrie missed some of Leigh-Anne’s recent milestones, including her marriage.

Little Mix announced that they would be taking an indefinite hiatus from touring together in 2021, as the trio decided to pursue their own solo careers.

The group – made up of Leigh-Anne, 31, Perrie and Jade Thirlwall, 31, – continued as a trio after Jesy Nelson’s departure three years ago and appeared to be best friends.

But Leigh-Anne on Monday set the record straight on the feud rumors during an appearance on Heart FM, claiming the girls are ‘so close’ and are like ‘sisters’.

Presenter Amanda Holden asked Leigh-Anne: ‘You’re the first of the band to release solo music, are you nervous, does it feel weird not having them around even now…?

She replied, “I literally keep saying I’ve been punked or something… like they’re just coming from somewhere, they’re just going with me, it’s bizarre, but I really feel like now is the right time.”

“We’ve been together for 12 years and I really feel like it was time to spread our wings.”

Amanda continued, “It’s typical of most iconic bands that they all disappear, all produce their own music, and then go on a great tour about five years later when they all get back together.”

Leigh-Anne said, “We’re so close, they’re my girls and they’ll always be my sisters, so of course we’re going to have a reunion, how could we not?”

Perrie was noticeably absent from the star’s wedding to footballer Andre Gray in Jamaica, as well as the launch party for new single Don’t Say Love – both of which were attended by former bandmate Jade.

During an appearance on Capital FM on Friday, Leigh-Anne gushed, ‘Jade heard Don’t Say Love on the stag night, and so did my second single.

‘It was by the pool. Let me tell you, I was so afraid to play it to her. It was weird, but she loved it, so I buzzed.”

And in a video from Thursday’s London party to celebrate the release, Leigh-Anne told the audience, “Jade, this girl shows up for me every time.”

However, Perrie did take to her Instagram Stories after writing the song’s debut, “Most EPIC video ever, so proud of my @LeighannePinnock.”

On Twitter, a fan asked, “I see Jade at the wedding, wonder where Perrie is?”.

With another inscription: ‘Perrie where are you?’.

A third commented, ‘Am I the only one who thinks Perrie and Leigh-Anne aren’t as close anymore. Like yes, they comment on each other’s posts, but I haven’t seen them with each other in so long. It’s kinda sad.”

Others rushed to their defense, saying ‘People don’t understand that Perrie has a child to look after and Jade doesn’t, if Perrie can’t come it doesn’t mean she doesn’t support Leigh-Anne’.

And another commented, “Perrie lives a long way from both Jade and Leigh-Anne, give the girl the fucking benefit of the doubt.” We don’t know anything about what goes on behind closed doors.”

In February, Perrie reunited with Jade when the pair went out to dinner during a trip to Los Angeles.

The singer rocked her son Axel, 18 months, as she and Jade went for a walk in Santa Monica.

The band members had dinner at a local restaurant on Sunday before seeing the sights around the Santa Monica Pier.

It comes after Leigh-Anne’s catchy tune raced to the top of the iTunes charts after debuting alongside a very sexy music video on Friday.

The singer hissed as she donned a white latex dress before donning skimpy ensembles for a series of dance routines.

The impressive video also saw the stunner sporting numerous hairstyles, including her raven black braids styled high on her head.

Later, Leigh-Anne modeled a plunging dress with black feathers and a nude illusion look as she strutted her stuff with dancers.

The video ended with Leigh-Anne jumping into the ocean when text appeared on the screen saying ‘To be continued’.

One fan raced to Twitter and dubbed the song, “The best solo debut by a girl group since Beyoncé…Leigh is coming to beat.

Beyoncé Knowles, 41, released her first solo song Crazy In Love in 2003 to critical acclaim.

Another fan commented, “Leigh Anne’s music video is a life-changing experience.”

A third commented, “Don’t Say Love is definitely a hit,” and a fourth suggested that Leigh-Anne was now entering her “epic era.”

Someone else posted, “Visuals come through my girl. What an introduction to who Leigh-Anne is. The video is so beautifully done and every look is a service, you absolutely nailed this my girl. My heart feels so full and proud of you right now. Grab them’.
