Their world was recently turned upside down when thieves invaded their Cheshire mansion.

But on Saturday, Perrie Edwards and fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain shook off the incident as they dressed their son Axel in an adorable Halloween costume to go pumpkin picking.

On Instagram, the former Little Mix singer uploaded photos from the day, including a smiley selfie of the family group showing herself and her soccer player beau, both 29, with their 14-month-old son,

Trick or treat! On Saturday, Perrie Edwards and fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, both 29, dressed their son Axel, 14 months, in a cute Halloween costume to go pumpkin picking

While Perrie and Alex kept it casual in black hoodies and jumpers, they made sure their son was the center of attention.

Little Axel looked incredibly sweet in a pumpkin baby and matching hat, with his suit worn over his own black tracksuit.

The sweet little boy was photographed staggering around the pumpkin patch, where at one point he lay prone over a large pumpkin.

Their salutary getaway comes after it was revealed last month that thieves who broke into the couple’s Cheshire mansion had gained entry using a ladder.

It is reported that the burglars were experienced and entered through an upstairs window of a ladder and escaped with jewelry and designer items.

A friend told the publication: ‘It seems amazing that your own house can be broken into at night without even going out, but that’s what the police think happened.

“It now looks like they were targeted by some pretty brash and experienced criminals who had the brass neck and the means to climb the back of a large property and get their hands on all this expensive gear before they were spotted.

“They must be quite seasoned, but the police are determined to get them before someone else falls victim.”

According to another source, the couple felt “violated” by the incident and extremely “upset” after realizing what had happened.

They said: ‘The audacity of doing it while they were in the house is terrifying, and it is clear that they are heartbroken that many valuables have been stolen that meant a lot to them, not just financially.

“This is their dream home and they love it as a family. Suddenly it feels tarnished, but they are determined to get on with their lives.’
