A self-described ‘scent girlie’ has tried out early 2000s perfumes created by iconic stars such as Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, and revealed which is the best and worst.
Anastazia Dupee, 26, is a content creator based in Los Angeles with more than 1.2 million followers on TikTok, where she shares her daily life with viewers, as well as all her beauty, fashion and lifestyle tips.
Dupee, host of the Confessions By Anastazia podcast, decided to honor the “perfume queens” of the early 2000s by sharing her official overview and assessment, starting with Kim K.
“I’m a fragrance girl, I love the 2000s, Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Rihanna, Britney Spears, they all came out with their own perfume,” she explained this week.

She started by trying on Kim Kardashian’s True Reflection perfume (pictured)
“I think these four queens were major perfume queens, so let’s start with Kim.”
Dupee started by opening a bottle of Kardashian’s “True Reflection” perfume, with notes of “Italian bergamot, luscious plum and peach.”
“Apparently Kim still uses this perfume to this day,” Dupee claimed, showing off the black prism-shaped bottle and spraying it on her wrists. ‘I’m excited to try this out.’
“It smells like licorice,” she said after sniffing it. “That’s the best I can describe it, like licorice.”
Next up was Paris Hilton’s, which was named after herself and also had an “iconic” photo of the star on the box, according to Dupee.
“She has like 40 perfumes, and I have the one with the most reviews,” she explained, noting that she preferred Kardashian’s bottle to Hilton’s.
Hilton’s perfume is described on its website as “cool and radiant,” with the top presenting a “halo with luscious notes of frozen apple and juicy peach nectar enveloped in sparkling muguet and a dash of wet ozone.”
In addition, it also has a floral note and at the base ‘creamy sandalwood is infused with oak moss and ylang-ylang blossoms.’
Next, Dupee moved on to Paris Hilton’s perfume, describing it as “powdery” and “floral.”

Dupee has more than 1.2 million followers on her TikTok page, where she posted the video reviewing the perfumes
“Powdy, floral, very romantic,” the content creator noted after spraying the scent on her body. “I feel like I would wear this on a date night.”
She described the scent as a “teen perfume” that was “soft” and “sweet.”
Dupee then moved on to Rihanna’s Reb’l Fleur, which consists of “subtle floral notes of hibiscus, violet and tuberose, with a hint of coconut water, over the soft and gentle base,” according to the official description.
“I feel like every teenage girl in the 2000s wanted to own this perfume,” she said of the scent as she showed off the pink and gold packaging, complete with a photo of the A-lister herself on the box.
“Definitely the biggest bottle of them all,” the vlogger noted. “These weren’t expensive, by the way.”
When she took it out of the package, Dupee noticed that the bottle of Rihanna’s perfume was “gorgeous” and had similarities to what Kardashian’s looked like.
“This is very sexy and very musky,” she said. “One of The Cheetah Girls would definitely wear this.”
And finally, Dupee said she saved Britney Spears’ Fantasy for last, which comes in a cute, bright pink bottle decorated with rhinestones.

“This is the first time I’ve smelled this,” the 26-year-old said, explaining that the bottle had a “similar vibe” to Hilton’s.
Dupee sprinkled it on her skin and said, “This is very sweet, very fruity. Throwing a high school prom.”
The top notes in Spears’ fragrance are ‘kiwi, red lychee and quince’, while the heart notes include ‘white chocolate, cupcake, orchid and jasmine’ with a base of ‘musk, orris root and woodsy notes’.
At the end of the clip, Dupee gave her review of the nostalgic fragrance series.
“My favorite one, and I think I would wear this to the gym, is Paris Hilton’s,” she admitted. ‘It’s very easy and it smells very nice.’
Rihanna’s perfume came in at number two.
“This is more sophisticated, a little bit sexier,” the podcast host explained.
“Then I would put on Kim Kardashian’s perfume,” she said. “I don’t think I’m attracted to this.”
Last but not least was Spears’ Fantasy fragrance.
“This is just my opinion,” Dupee reminded viewers at the end. “These are iconic scents that have been around for years and years.”

Others went to work on Spears’ Fantasy perfume, whose collection saw a 335 percent increase in sales in 2021 compared to 2019, Fragrance Direct said CNN.
“Fantasy is the best perfume ever, I still buy it,” someone else admitted.
