Perfect Dark, Metroid and multiplayer Legend of Zelda are all coming to Nintendo’s subscription service

Nintendo announced a small but mighty list of additions to its premium subscription service on Tuesday as part of the Nintendo Direct. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Four Swords; Metroid: Zero Mission; Turok: Dinosaur hunter; And Perfectly dark will all be released on Tuesday for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.

Each title on its own would be a formidable addition to the catalog of games offered through the subscription service, but now we get all four. Metroid: Zero Mission is a classic Metroid game and is highly regarded as one of the best entries in the series. Turok: Dinosaur hunter takes players back to some good prehistoric hunting and exploring on the Nintendo 64. As for Perfectly darkThere couldn’t be a better time to revisit the original, as the reboot just got a big gameplay trailer at the recent Xbox Games Showcase – and the game will have online multiplayer.

Then of course there is a Zelda game. The standard Nintendo Switch Online already includes the NES version of The Legend of Zelda: a link to the pastbut now people can play more idiosyncratically Four swords addition to the game that appeared on the GameBoy Advance in 2002. The best part? This game will also have online multiplayer, so those who didn’t have enough copies of the game (or enough handhelds) as kids can now finally revisit the classic and play with friends.

An individual subscription to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack costs $49.99 per year, but you can also purchase a family membership that costs $79.99 per year and can include up to eight users.
