Pep Guardiola has revealed he trusts his wife to choose his famous matchday outfits.
The Manchester City manager has become somewhat synonymous with good style on the touchline, wearing turtlenecks, City logo jerseys or the signature ‘hoodigan’ as he coaches his side.
Having won an average of a trophy every 23 days in his career, Guardiola is used to success and apparently wants to look good when he does it.
His wife, Cristina Serra, is a Brazilian writer, but her family runs a chic boutique called Serra Claret in Barcelona, which sells designer labels such as D Squared and Armani.
And, talk to Men in blazersGuardiola praised his other half as he credited her for his looks.

“My wife,” he said when asked how he decides what to wear to work. ‘My wife is the best in the world at many things, but especially at fashion. So she normally tells me don’t wear this or wear that, so I follow her.
‘I’m smart enough to know that if people are much better than me, I should follow their advice, and hers is really good.
Guardiola and Sierra have been together for 35 years but only got married in May 2014 when they tied the knot in a discreet ceremony in Catalonia attended by their three children and both parents.
And while he’s clearly incredibly successful on the field, Sierra’s good style off it is to thank.

Guardiola went on to explain how he is achieving success in his managerial career. He attributed it to one major factor, and it has been around for a long time.
“Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Man City are so strong economically that they can buy the best players in the world and have the structure at their disposal to get the job done,” he said. ‘I think the mentality I grew up with from the age of 13 at the Barcelona academy was that you couldn’t lose and you had to keep getting better.
‘Maybe it’s in my bones now and I’m trying to inoculate this part of the competitive issue into my players and the clubs, structures and staff.’
