Fans are amazed at how actor Chris Pratt has evolved over the years from a controversial figure to a religious family man.

His followers have some difficulty reconciling the old Chris Pratt with the one who now regularly quotes Bible texts during interviews.
On Monday, he told Page Six that he is not bothered by the haters who criticize his views on Christianity and Jesus.
“But that’s nothing new, that’s nothing new, you know?” he said.
Going on to say, ‘That’s right, nothing new, 2000 years ago they hated him [Jesus] at.’

And then Pratt starts reciting a passage from the Bible.
“If I were of this world, they would just love me, but as it is now, I chose not of this world. That’s John 15:18 through 20.”
The faith of the actors has come under scrutiny over the years. He attended Zoe Church, affiliated with the controversial Hillsong Pastor, who had a reputation for being anti-LGBTQ.
During his 2018 acceptance speech at the MTV Movie and TV Awards, he preached, “God is real. God loves you. God wants the best for you. Believe that; I do.”

Pratt is probably best known for playing the role of Andy Dwyer on the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation.
He was initially slated to play the role for six episodes, but the dim-witted yet likable character became so popular that it helped propel his film career, later starring in major blockbusters, including films in the Marvel the Cinematic Universe and the Jurassic Park franchise.
He also played supporting roles in the films Wanted, Jennifer’s Body, Moneyball, Zero Dark Thirty, among others.
During his career highlights, his personal life took a hit when he divorced his then-wife Anna Faris, to whom he was married from 2009 to 2018 and shared a 10-year-old son with Jack.
In 2019, he married 33-year-old author Katherine Schwarzenneger, the daughter of legendary actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The couple shares two daughters. Lyla they welcomed in 2020 and Eloise in 2022.
The couple looked blissfully happy as they attended the ceremony North American premiere of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. April 3 in Hollywood.
Pratt also appeared on the Drew Barrymore Show with his wife last month when she spoke about her new book, The Gift of Forgiveness.
The actor shared with the presenter how his life was “broken” before meeting Schwarzenegger.
He shared how he was smitten when he first saw Schwarzenegger calling her the “woman of my dreams,” whom he first saw in church.
“There was a point in my life when I was really struggling and felt really broken,” he said.
“For me, my own journey of finding a higher power and leaning on it and feeling like, ‘Please save me,’ and feeling saved.
“
And a little later meeting the woman of my dreams. It’s all about timing. There’s a perfect plan for you,” he said partially. “You have to have faith.”
