People are saying the same thing about MAGA fashion show, where budding designers showed off their Donald Trump-inspired clothing

A MAGA fashion show has been widely mocked online, featuring a range of garments inspired by Donald Trump.

About 200 supporters of the former president gathered at the America First Warehouse on Long Island on Tuesday to watch a host of emerging designers showcase their fashion pieces in honor of Trump.

A dress painted like an American flag with the politician’s face on it, a dress with his name in diamonds and a rhinestone-embellished MAGA hat were just some of the items shown on the runway.

But when footage from the fashion show was shared online, people on social media had some less than nice things to say about it.

X and Instagram were quickly flooded with posts from liberals criticizing the fashion show, with one person calling it “tasteless,” while another called it “cringe.”

“I thought this was satire,” one person wrote.

“If you haven’t had enough of your daily dose of shame, the whole video is worth watching,” added another, alongside a clip of the fashion show.

“Hyperventilating. Laughing so hard I’ll have abs tomorrow. They just took existing clothing and added TRUMP to it,” someone else said.

“This was hard to watch, I can only imagine what it would be like to actually be there,” a fourth post read.

A fifth simply said: ‘This can’t be true….’

“The cult mentality of MAGA is astounding,” said another user.

“It’s a bad day to have eyes,” was another sarcastic comment.

“It gives the United States of Temu,” someone else joked.

Titled America First Patriotic Designer Showcase, the show featured “about a dozen small labels and independent makers,” New York Times reported.

One of them was Deborah Yanna, a designer who launched her own line of Trump-inspired sequin jackets earlier this year, called Make America Sparkle Again.

She sells the jackets, which are engraved with various Trump slogans or taglines, for prices ranging from $375 to $500.

Lena Ruseva, who creates murals of famous figures with Trump’s face painted on them, walked the runway in a striking dress featuring the American flag.

In addition, designer Sara Brady showed a red ball gown with the words “America’s comeback” on the skirt and a photo of Trump.
