But people are shocked to discover that O’Hara was only 36 when she played the mother of five who accidentally left her son home during the holidays in the first Home Alone movie.

A fan took to TikTok to express her shock, noting that while O’Hara may have appeared well into adulthood in the film, she was in fact the same age as fellow actor Lindsay Lohan, now expecting her first child.
