Penrith Panthers winger Brian To’o and his wife Sala Moesha are expecting their first child, the overjoyed couple have announced.

The 24-year-old posted the amazing news to Instagram after famously asking for her hand shortly after his side beat Souths 14 – 12 in the 2021 grand final.

“I just told her she’s the best thing that ever happened to me,” he said that memorable afternoon.

Mother’s Day last weekend and Ms. Moesha To’o is proudly showing off her baby bump on Instagram.

The day NRL star Brian To’o became incredibly happy when he married his longtime girlfriend Moesha Crichton, the sister of his teammate Stephen.

Their post showed the pair wearing a Panthers jersey complete with the number five — the same number To’o wears — and “Baby To’o” written on the back, accompanied by the caption “our debutant” and an emoji with a love heart.

The post was shared by the Panthers’ official social media accounts with the caption, “The family is growing. Congratulations to Bizza and Moesha.’

The couple also posted several photos, including one of Moesha receiving Mother’s Day balloons while rocking her baby bump.

The gender of the children is not yet known.

The couple married in front of teammates, family and friends in December 2022 in a happy, tear-filled ceremony.

However, controversy struck shortly after the wedding when the couple drove off in a golf cart in a scene captured on a TikTok video.

To’o was heard to say: “I’ll eat you tonight” before his obviously annoyed bride chastises him, saying, “Oh my god!”

The good news from the popular winger was met with joy from fans, fellow players and friends, who offered their congratulations.

Api Koroisau, now with the Tigers said: ‘yes fam! Congratulations guys’ and he was joined by Canterbury’s Matt Burton, Tigers’ Charlie Staines, teammate Stephen Crichton, media star Beau Ryan, Scott Sorensen and Jarome Luai who all passed on their heartfelt wishes.

Former teammate Viliame Kikau, now at Canterbury, said: ‘Congratulations to both of you. Time to grow up now [brother].’

And Panthers lock Isaah Yeo added: ‘Congratulations!! Hopefully this means you’re maturing ffs.’

That seemed to be a common theme in the playful congrats thread.

The Panthers head to Suncorp Stadium this Thursday for a huge clash with the Brisbane Broncos.
