Penn State player seen vomiting on the turf during Big Ten Championship game against Oregon
Penn State star Kobe King was found throwing up on the court midway through Saturday night’s Big Ten showdown against Oregon.
Just before the ball was snapped in the first half, the linebacker was seen walking into his own end zone when he suddenly gagged and doubled over.
As teammates watched, King vomited, vomit streaming through his face mask and even from above the visor of his helmet.
But instead of immediately seeking medical attention, one of his fellow defenders motioned for King to shuffle to his right.
The redshirt junior – from Detroit, Michigan – had barely finished vomiting when the ball was snapped and Penn State tried to keep the Ducks out.
Saturday night, two of the top three ranked teams in college football played each other for the conference championship.

The No. 1 Oregon Ducks entered the game with a perfect 12-0 record, while the No. 3 Nittany Lions were 11-1 in their first twelve games.
Both Penn State and Oregon are all but guaranteed to be in the 12-team College Football Playoffs. Georgia will join them after the Bulldogs defeated Texas in overtime earlier on Saturday.
Georgia became SEC champions despite losing quarterbacks at both the end of the first half and the final overtime against second-ranked Texas in Atlanta.
Backup shooter Stockton’s helmet flew off in a frightening moment as he was batted down by the Longhorns’ Andrew Mukuba on the penultimate play of the game.
Injured starter Carson Beck returned to the field for the final play, passing the lead to running back Trevor Etienne for a four-yard touchdown and a 22-19 win.
Beck was previously ruled out after injuring his throwing arm late in the first half, but was good enough to hand the ball to Etienne to capture the Bulldogs’ second SEC crown of the last three years.
