Penelope Cruz sends temperatures soaring in a Mugler corset and green Versace lace dress as she says she’s in her best era yet ahead of 50th birthday
Penelope Cruz has turned heads in a striking photoshoot ahead of her 50th birthday next month.
The actress showed off her age-defying figure in a busty strapless Mugler corset and lime green lace Versace dress for the April issue of ELLE Spain – her ninth cover for the publication.
“If you ask me what my relationship with myself was like now and the one I had in my 20s or 30s, I honestly prefer the relationship I have now,” Penelope said in the accompanying interview.
While the Hollywood star isn’t sure yet what she will do to celebrate her 50th birthday, she said she will spend the time with her loved ones, some of whom she has known since she was a teenager.
When she turned 50, she said, “I take advantage of every decade, every moment, and I never think, ‘I was better before.'”

When she turned 50, she said, “I take advantage of every decade, every moment, and I never think, ‘I was better before.'”
Penelope proved she’s in her best era yet as she oozed confidence in the accompanying photoshoot.
The actress showed off her ample cleavage in the PVC Mugler corset which she paired with figure-hugging jeans, Aquazzurra sandals and Chanel earrings.
Penelope also showed off her legs in a crepe jacket, chiffon blouse and lace lingerie from Dolce & Gabbana.
The actress said she misses the “antics” of her younger years as she has become more aware of the world around her over the years.
“Sometimes I’d like to do more antics and get back to that kind of unconsciousness more,” she said.
Penelope added, “Everything I’ve learned so far, or all the mountains I’ve had to climb – some of which haven’t been easy, and I’m not talking about anything that has to do with success or that part of the job – part of of my learning. diary.’
Also in the interview, Penelope gave a rare insight into her family life with husband Javier Bardem and their two children Leo, 13, and Luna, 10.
The actress revealed that she always wanted to be a mother and tried to adopt a child herself during a trip to India at the age of 20, but was unsuccessful.

“I used to work a lot, and at a very crazy pace, because that’s what I was doing at that time, when I was making four films a year.”
“But today I feel that I am very lucky that what I have sown over time now gives me the opportunity to choose what I will do, where and when.
“I mean, sometimes they can offer me something, but if it’s during the course, or if it’s not in our city or not in the summer, then I’ve said no to a lot of things because of that.
‘And I’ll never regret it.
‘Because from birth we do everything we can to be fully present in their upbringing.
“It’s the most important thing for us.”
