The expectant mother, who already shares three-year-old son Henry with her husband, confessed that she had forgotten whether the public knew she was expecting.
She explained: ‘I forgot who I have and haven’t told them at the moment because I’ve been busy trying to remember what a waistband is and stopping my three-year-old from using my stomach as a trampoline, but – big old baby number two incoming. Isn’t that beautiful?’
Sophie played heavily pregnant PC Joanna Marshall in her thriller After The Flood, which aired in January.
She co-starred with her real-life husband, who played PC Marshall’s police officer husband Pat Holman, in the show, and it seems the fake and real pregnancy almost overlapped.
During an appearance on The One Show: ‘I’m pregnant in real life now. So this is starting to feel like the longest pregnancy a human woman has ever endured.”
Sophie revealed that wearing the fake belly almost put her off having another child, adding: ‘I wasn’t pregnant at the time, had a big fake belly and I think I was a bit put off when I got the fake belly , then I had had enough time and now I’m going for more.’
Sophie gave her fans an update on Friday and also kept it casual in an oversized purple sweatshirt and leggings, while thanking Sloppy Joe Sweatshirts for their comfortable pieces.
She wrote: ‘Also a huge thank you to @sloppyjoesweatshirts for sending me the rest of my everyday maternity uniform.
