A driver has plummeted 70 meters after falling off a cliff in Queensland but miraculously survived.

The woman in her 60s was behind the wheel in Peachester, near Beerwah on the inland Sunshine Coast when she veered off the road.

Paramedics are evaluating her for possible neck and spinal injuries and a rescue operation is underway.

The Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed they attended a reported single vehicle rollover on Peachester Road at around 11:22am on Monday.

“A stable patient is being assessed at the scene, with rescue ongoing,” QAS said.

Queensland Police told Daily Mail Australia at around 3:30pm that Peachester Rd, near Ocean View Park, is currently blocked in both directions following the rollover.

‘Emergency teams currently on scene.’ He added Queensland Police.

“Motorists are advised to avoid the area and follow the traffic instructions given.”
