Pawn Star star Rick Harrison confirms son Adam’s cause of death as an overdose: ‘The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously’
Pawn Star star Rick Harrison confirmed the cause of death of his son Adam on Monday.
The reality star, 58, revealed in a statement to The mail that Adam tragically “died of a fentanyl overdose.”
“The fentanyl crisis in this country needs to be taken more seriously,” he added. ‘It seems like it just flows over the borders and nothing is done about it. We have to do better.’
On Friday, the TV personality shared a photo with his late child on Instagram, alongside a heartfelt tribute.

‘You will always be in my heart! Love you Adam,” the father of three captioned his post, which has received more than 114,125 likes.
The comments section was full of condolences from fans, fans and his famous friends, including Donald Trump Jr., who wrote, “I’m so sorry man.”
A representative of the Harrison family confirmed this to the Las Vegas Review-Journal that Adam had overdosed and requested “privacy” on behalf of the Harrisons.

Adam’s nickname was ‘Wax’ and his older brother Corey Harrison, 40, also paid tribute to him with a sweet Instagram post.
He shared a throwback photo with his brother in a bathtub when they were kids.
“Wax wtf I will always love you bubba,” he captioned the post.
Adam is survived by his parents, Harrison and ex-wife Kim, his brother Corey, his half-brother Jake and his three daughters Sarina, Ciana and Marissa.

TMZ reports that Las Vegas police are currently investigating the case.
Rick has three children and Adam was the most private as he did not appear on the reality series nor had a social media presence.
According to the publication, Rick’s second child had initially helped out at the world-famous gold and silver pawn shop featured on the History Channel series, but left to pave his own path.
He was seemingly never seen on the reality series that has run for 22 seasons since 2009.
TMZ reports that there is quite a bit of mystery surrounding Adam as not much is known about him.
They report that some claimed he made a living as a plumber, but their sources indicate he worked in some profession, but it remains unclear exactly what job.
