Paulini Curuenavuli has revealed that he was ashamed of his weight on Australian Idol in 2003.

Although twenty years have passed since that fateful night, the singer acknowledges that her confidence received a long blow from which it took her a long time to recover.

“It wasn’t like I started out very confident anyway,” the 40-year-old told this week’s edition of Stellar Magazine.

“I’ve never been sure of myself or my style, until now,” she tells the publication.
