One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has devised a cunning way to fund her legal battle against a Greens senator who she says “had to piss off to Pakistan.”

Six sweaters and a cardigan knitted by Senator Hanson are being auctioned in defense of the lawsuit filed against her for suggesting in a tweet that Green deputy leader Mehreen Faruqi return to her homeland.

The bidding started at $500 for each of the differently colored garments featured on the One Nation website under the‘Pauline Hanson’s winter collection’.

A smiling Senator Hanson models the yellow, red, purple, mauve, green, blue, and teal knit pieces himself.

“Each piece is hand-knitted by One Nation founder and leader, Senator Pauline Hanson herself, over a period of approximately 60 hours or more,” the website reads.

The website promises that until the end of the auction on June 11, bidders will have “the exciting opportunity to purchase one of these exclusive hand-knitted items from Pauline Hanson, unless you can make an offer that we can’t refuse before the end of the auction.” auction’.

“All proceeds will go to Pauline Hanson’s One Nation Fighting Fund to fight for our rights to freedom of speech, democracy regarding allegations made by Mehreen Faruqui (Deputy Leader of the Greens), which are now in court,” reads the website.

As an extra incentive, the website says that winning bidders might just be the “lucky person to have your sweater/cardigan delivered by Pauline Hanson herself.”

The advertised fit of each garment is a large 10 to a small 14.

The red jersey appears to be the most popular, with the higher of two offerings at $1,010.

The yellow jersey is doing the least well with the garment currently at $530.

The remaining jerseys and a cardigan are currently fetching between that price and $730.

Senator Hanson accuses the Greens of trying to bankrupt her by accusing her of violating the racial discrimination law.

“The Greens are trying to silence me for speaking out against their deputy leader, Meereen (sic) Faruqi, for her disgusting attack on Queen Elizabeth II on the day of her death,” Senator Hanson said.

At the time of writing, the red jersey was the highest bid knit at $1,010, which is more than double the reserve price of $500

Greens deputy leader Mehreen Faruqi is taking legal action against Senator Hason’s tweet advising her to ‘go to Pakistan’

‘I’ll be blunt. The Greens are taking me to court because they want to bankrupt me and kick me out of parliament. But I won’t let them.’

Senator Faruqi claims Senator Hanson violated the racial discrimination law by advising her to “go back to Pakistan.”

The exchange took place in September after Senator Faruqi shared her republican views following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Senator Faruqi’s lawyers allege that Senator Hanson’s tweet “insulted, insulted, humiliated and intimidated” their client and “other people who share attributes” with her.

In early May, Senator Hanson sold craft beer bar The Pourhouse in the town of Maitland in NSW’s Hunter Valley, which also has a three-bedroom holiday apartment.

The $1.1 million price tag meant Senator Hanson more than doubled her money in the 11 years since she bought the property for just $449,000.
