Paulina Gretzky has paid emotional tribute to her husband, LIV Golf star Dustin Johnson, for the example he sets for their two children.
Gretzky stars on the cover of the fall issue of KIND and took part in a stunning photoshoot for the publication, opening up about her life with the two-time Major winner away from the glare of the public eye.
Gretzky (35) is the daughter of Wayne Gretzky – hockey’s most iconic player ever – and is also married to one of golf’s biggest stars.
Together with Dustin, they have two children who are now five and according to KIND, her parents live just 10 minutes away in North Palm Beach, Florida.
“The example I set for my kids with Dustin is that we have to do this together,” she said. ‘We’re not always on the same page, but we trust each other enough that I know he’s doing right by our kids and he knows I’m doing right by our kids—we talk about it, but at the fundamental level is trust.

‘His patience is fantastic. No ego, and it was funny to see the kids realize who their dad is, and who my dad is, but we don’t want them to be raised differently.
‘Of course we want them to know they are special, everyone is. But around the house my father is grandfather and Dustin is father.’
Despite Dustin and Wayne’s natural shared interests in sports, Paulina said the golfer and her mother are also very close.
“The way he loves my mom and respects her is a big part of everything and not just for me, but for all of our kids,” Gretzky said.
“It’s like my dad is with Dustin, and how he is with all his grandchildren, both of my parents set a great example and it comes down to paying attention and being kind to each other, being present, and I have to also shows how good Dustin is with our kids.’
Johnson is a two-time major winner, emerging victorious in the 2016 US Open before winning the Masters four years later.
In May 2022, Johnson was announced as an LIV golfer. He was left out of the USA team that was beaten by Europe in the Ryder Cup in Rome last weekend.
Johnson and Gretzky married in April 2022 but began dating in 2013.

KIND unveiled its cover with Gretzky on Tuesday, featuring her in a bikini, posing in water.
“We’re thrilled to unveil our highly anticipated Fall 2023 Health & Wellness issue, featuring the iconic @paulinagretzky — intimate, personal, stunning — on the cover,” Kind wrote on his Instagram as a caption. “So much love to Paulina and her incredible team.”
Paulina was clearly excited for the cover shoot to appear – she first shared a video of the shoot in August.
This footage showed her posing on a beach and also on the tennis court – one of the sports she is less associated with.
