According to reports, Paul Pogba is reportedly in advanced talks with Marseille over a possible move during the January transfer window.
The midfielder has been in talks with the Ligue 1 club for several weeks, with a deal possibly on the horizon if Pogba is cleared to resume training early next year.
This would mark a return to French football for Pogba, who is set to become a free agent after reaching an agreement to end his contract with Juventus.
The move could also see Pogba link up with former Manchester United player Mason Greenwood, who signed for Marseille on a five-year deal from the Red Devils in July.
Pogba’s career is in limbo following the doping scandal that saw him receive a four-year ban in February.

Although Pogba will not be eligible to play until March 2025, he is expected to leave Juventus soon and could complete his move to Marseille in January.
Rumors had previously linked Pogba with a move to Major League Soccer, but it appears his next destination could be back in France. Malick Traore.
But Pogba will return earlier in a friendly in Dubai, where he will compete in the Kings Cup, before any such deal is completed.
The legendary football match, which will take place at Al Maktoum Stadium on November 30, returns for its third edition and will see former World Cup and Champions League winners take to the stage.
Pogba is one of the most high-profile superstars currently named in the line-up and will be joined by a host of other world-class stars.
John Terry, Roberto Carlos, Michael Owen, Paul Scholes and David Silva are also among those who will take the field in the unique exhibition match.
The match will be played with Pogba, who will be given a special shirt, subjecting him to different rules, meaning he will only be allowed to play 30 minutes of the friendly.
Pogba and Brazil icon Carlos plays just 15 minutes of each half and is exempt from yellow and red cards and cannot be flagged for offside.
The former Manchester United midfielder is eager to play again after last taking the field before being suspended in September last year.
