Paul Hogan’s grandson’s disturbing downfall: Jake Hogan is jailed for breaking into apartment blocks to fuel his drug habit and bombarding his ex with calls and texts while she was in hospital
EXCLUSIVE
Paul Hogan’s grandson has been convicted of breaking into apartment buildings ‘to fuel his drug habit’ and of threatening an ex-girlfriend.
Jake Paul Hogan was caught using what police described as “high quality CCTV” to break into several luxury apartment complexes after “blatantly hanging out outside.”
Todd Hogan’s son Jake, one of five children Hollywood star ‘Hoges’ had with his first wife Noelene, is a trained carpenter but police say he has a serious drug addiction.
According to police records, the 34-year-old can be clearly seen breaking into a block of flats in the Sydney suburb of Pyrmont, wearing a black fitted T-shirt with ‘Los Angeles’ in gold lettering, shorts and white New Balance sneakers.
On another occasion he wore a black ‘L’HISTOIRE’ singlet and black shorts to burglarize a block in nearby Waterloo.
Police later found him with Trojan brand wire cutters, a black flashlight, Allen wrenches and an adjustable wrench.
Hogan also breached a domestic violence arrest warrant, five days after it was removed by an ex-girlfriend, by texting her the word ‘DOG’ while she was at Prince of Wales Hospital.

Tallia Hattan then received a further 42 calls from various phone boxes over four hours as she lay in her hospital bed while he was ‘crying on the phone… or getting very angry and shouting’.
The police facts detail Hogan’s high number of arrests and offenses and 18 previous charges, including keeping a knife in a public place, malicious damage, drug possession, multiple frauds, shoplifting and possession of stolen goods.
At Downing Center Local Court on Wednesday, a lawyer entered guilty pleas on behalf of Hogan.
He was not present because he was in jail on charges of burglary, possession of burglary tools, theft and unlawfully obtaining property.
He also pleaded guilty to breaching the ADVO against his former partner.
Hogan is said to have previously lived with his now ex-girlfriend in Woolloomooloo and then in an Ultimo flat before possibly becoming homeless.
On March 2 this year, after hanging outside a harborside block in Pyrmont, whose apartments are worth $3 million each, Hogan entered the garage when a black SUV drove away.
He cut through a fence with burglary tools, then cut the cable on a $1,200 Polygon Path i8 commuter bike and rode away.

Six days later, a female student locked her $600 Giant brand Innova bicycle in the garage of the Mondrian apartment building on Powell Street, Waterloo.
Thirty minutes later, Hogan approached the women’s bicycle – which had a distinctive Dutch handlebar and was covered in Palestinian flag stickers – and repeatedly twisted the seat until the lock broke, then rode away.
Hogan was eventually taken into custody and refused bail after being caught shoplifting at Coles and Myer in Sydney’s CBD.
He was arrested on February 5 after an employee saw him steal two Dare Iced Coffees at Coles World Square.
Hogan claimed to the worker that he was homeless and had no money, and later told police he had not eaten in days.
He told police he paid $380 a week in rent, earned $500 a week from carpentry and $500 in Centrelink benefits.
Hogan was charged with shoplifting and released on bail under strict conditions, but three days later he was caught stealing from Myer in George Street.
On February 8, police were called after Myer security ‘strongly suspected’ Hogan of removing security tags from garments.

Paul Hogan’s son by actress and second wife Linda Koslowski, Chance, now 24 years old, (father and son pictured together in 2016) has also made news for being in trouble
According to court documents, police found him in possession of a black Puma cap, a black KSCY T-shirt, a black Nena & Pasadena T-shirt and green KSCY cargo shorts, worth a total of $259.97 .
After arresting him for shoplifting and violating his bail conditions, police gave him an official warning.
Police say Hogan’s offenses demonstrate “a serious disregard for the public and their property.”
“The suspect continues to shamelessly hang around outside a residential complex when he knows he can go in and steal other people’s belongings.
“The suspect has previously said he had a high drug habit and police believe he is stealing to fuel that habit. The suspect shows a clear pattern of previous non-compliance with imposed bail conditions.”
Hogan will be sentenced at Downing Center Local Court in May.

Paul Hogan has also had setbacks with his son Chance, who he had with his second wife and Crocodile Dundee co-star Linda Koslowski.
Chance Hogan, 24, has also made headlines for suffering, posting a video to Instagram last year of his bloodied face and collarbone following a hospital visit after sustaining injuries.
