Paul C. Brunson teases next series of MAFS UK will be the ‘best series’ yet

Paul C. Brunson has said the next series of Married At First Sight UK is ‘by far our best series’ to date.

The love expert, 48, has warned fans to prepare for more explosive scenes when the hit show returns for a third series later this year.

Speak against The sun, Paul said: ‘I believe this year of MAFS UK will be the most diverse cast ever in the history of UK dating. For me, it’s going to be a real cross-section of the nation. It’s not for the faint hearted. I still need to see my therapist.”

He teased, “This year is going to be our best series by far. For those who want to see roller coaster love stories, you got them. For those who want to see couples implode, you get that. For those who want to see how couples compare to each other, it’s there. Wait till you see the dinner parties!’

He added, “I don’t want to offend Love Island, but this year it seems people want to know when MAFS starts. It’s coming, guys.’

It comes after it was revealed last month that the Channel 4 reality show has been renewed for a fourth series before the third has even aired – after promising ‘longest season yet’.

Filming for the next season has not yet been completed, but after the success of the show, a decision has already been made for the future.

According to The sunproducers have decided to ‘strike while the iron is hot’ because the ‘crowd appetite is not great’.

The third season of the massive dating show is believed to return later this year, with Channel 4 already having a call for the fourth series on their websiteregistration closes on 1 December.

A source told the publication, “MAFS UK is a huge priority for the channel and is the biggest franchise on E4, as well as the biggest streaming hit for the network.”

They added, “It makes sense to order and strike another series now while the iron is hot, as public interest in all the drama and chaos that comes from these ‘blind’ marriages is not great.”

MailOnline has contacted Channel 4 for comment.

It comes after, Subway revealed that the upcoming season could be the “longest series yet”, running for about eight weeks.

MAFSUK promises an extra week of drama and may run as long as Love Island, whose eighth season had 57 episodes.

In 2021, Married At First Sight UK has revamped its format to match the scandalous Australian series.

Aussie relationship expert Mel Schilling also stepped in to helm the series following the blockbuster success of Australia’s MAFS in the UK.

The program sees sixteen bachelors matched for life with their partners by love gurus Melanie Schilling, Charlene Douglas and Paul, who meet for the first time at the altar.

After their risky marriage, they embark on a joint honeymoon where drama reaches boiling point and screaming matches ensue.

Inspired by the show’s Australian format, the couples are brought together for group dinners, which also seem to be full of drama.

Instead of legal marriages, the couples will form a lifelong bond with each other in a glamorous ceremony, overseen by a wedding celebrant, with guests, wedding gowns, dance, speeches and cake.

After the ceremony and celebrations are over, true love is put to the test as they embark on a lavish honeymoon before moving in with each other and their fellow couples.

Relationships are scrutinized, by fellow brides and grooms at weekly dinner parties — and by the experts at recurring commitment ceremonies, where couples choose whether to stay in the process or leave the process.
