Patsy Kensit showed off her toned figure as she enjoyed a trip to the beach on her recent vacation to the Maldives.

The EastEnders actress, 55, slipped into a dark pink bikini that emphasized her toned midriff and paired it with oversized sunglasses.

Styling her blonde locks in an updo, Patsy bid farewell to the popular holiday destination in her caption, writing, “Hello beautiful Maldives.”

Patsy’s friend Grainne Fletcher who she vacationed with also shared a photo of the star enjoying a drink while gazing out at the Pacific Ocean.

Grainne wrote, “My glamorous holiday twin. Thank you @patsykensit for a heavenly week in paradise. Our special place.

It comes after Good Morning Britain was criticized for drawing ‘inappropriate’ attention to Patsy’s engagement ring during an interview last month.

Mother-of-two Patsy announced her engagement to millionaire real estate mogul Patric Cassidy following his romantic proposal on an idyllic overseas beach in February.

The ring, believed to be a 12-carat oval-shaped diamond worth more than £1 million, became apparent when the actress, who has been married four times, discussed her new role in BBC soap EastEnders with Kate Garraway.

As she concluded her interview, the presenter couldn’t help but refer to the beautiful piece of jewelery and tell Kensit, ‘I’m so distracted by that huge diamond ring! I’m blinded by it!’

But the quip went down badly with viewers of the ITV breakfast show, and one faction immediately voiced their grievances on Twitter.

“Is @gmb really wise to show @patsy_kensit’s engagement ring on national TV?!?!” Read an annoyed tweet.

To clarify her first point, a tweeter added, “Okay. My tweet was based more on people out there knowing she’s wearing it now and also knowing where she is. GMB is live.’
