Patriots star Matthew Judon sparks controversy by posting ‘homophobic’ AI meme of Patrick Mahomes KISSING an NFL ref – to claim Chiefs star is over-protected by officials

Patrick Mahomes is benefiting from worshiping NFL references, according to New England Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon, who used an allegedly homophobic meme to illustrate his stance on social media following Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Week 15 game in Foxborough was the second straight Chiefs game to end in controversy. Only unlike last week, when Kansas City fell to the Buffalo Bills largely due to a controversial offside penalty, the Chiefs took advantage of a defensive holding call, which negated New England's fumble recovery and resulted in a Harrison Butker field goal.

“I see no lies,” the wounded Judon wrote in response, prompting some accusations of homophobia on X.

The Chiefs won 27-17 on Sunday, bouncing back from last week's tough loss to the Bills, when Mahomes felt Kansas City was on the wrong side of a bad call.

Mahomes and Chiefs coach Andy Reid were both reportedly fined for criticizing officials to the media after the loss to Buffalo.

Kadarius Toney was clearly offside on a play in which he caught a lateral from Travis Kelce and ran for what would have been a go-ahead goal. Reid said officials normally warn players for offsides and called the penalty “a little embarrassing” for the NFL.

Mahomes slammed his helmet on the sideline and then yelled at the officials. He said the penalty call was something for primary school.

Things were significantly different on Sunday in Foxborough, as Mahomes passed for 305 yards and threw two TD passes in the win.

The Chiefs got a break in the third when Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers recovered a Chiefs fumble, only to see teammate Alex Austin flag for defensive holding — a questionable call that negated the turnover.

While Mahomes and the 9-5 Chiefs are still looking for another division title and a chance to repeat as Super Bowl champions, Judon and the 3-11 Patriots are heading into an uncertain offseason.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick is on the hot seat as Judon is currently recovering from biceps surgery.
