Patrick O'Neal was spotted for the first time since the death of his father Ryan O'Neal.

The sports broadcaster, 56, was seen not wearing shoes when he stepped out and stood in the driveway of the late actor's Los Angeles home on Saturday.

The day before, he had announced the tragic news on social media that the Love Story star had passed away at the age of 82.

The Wild Hogs vet wore a plain white T-shirt, navy blue patterned shorts and black ankle socks.

In his Instagram post shared on Friday, he had confirmed that the 'Hollywood legend' had 'passed away peacefully' while surrounded by his 'loving team'.

Patrick began his post by writing, “So this is the hardest thing I've ever had to say, but here we go.

“My father passed away peacefully today, with his loving team by his side, who supported him and loved him as he loved us,” he continued.

He shared a multi-post series in which he talked about the many achievements his father had made in his decades-long career and “kick a** life.”

Patrick is one of four children that Ryan leaves behind. In addition to Patrick, the late actor was also father to daughter Tatum and sons Griffin and Redmond.

He shared daughter Tatum and son Griffin with his first wife, Joanna Moore.

He shared Patrick with his second wife, Leigh Taylor-Young.
