A relaxed Patrick Mahomes was spotted watching the Houston Texans and Cleveland Browns playoff game on the sidelines just hours before his own wild-card showdown against the Miami Dolphins.
Mahomes stood near a heater and wrapped in a jacket as workers prepared the sideline for game time at Arrowhead Stadium.
Snow and parts of the tarp were still on the field as ground crews prepared for the dangerously cold temperatures.
The weather forecast was incredibly gloomy for the match, with some forecasts suggesting the wind chill during the match could be as low as -30 degrees.
Temperatures at Arrowhead Stadium at kickoff are expected to be around -5°F and could drop to -10°F, if not lower, later in the evening.
