Greenlaw, a top linebacker for the 49ers, tore his Achilles tendon walking onto the field in the first half and missed the remainder of the game.
And new footage from Inside the NFL shows Mahomes’ stunned reaction to the injury, telling offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, “Hey! 57 were injured there.”
The Chiefs offense struggled in the first half, scoring just three points, before Kansas City exploited Greenlaw’s absence after halftime to win the game.
On the other sideline, Greenlaw’s teammates can be seen in the video reacting disturbingly to him going down.
