Patrick Mahomes shows off his ‘dad-bod’ in Mexico with wife Brittany – who recently revealed she has a fractured back – and their kids as the Chiefs Super Bowl hero enjoys well earned downtime with his family
Patrick Mahomes is enjoying his offseason in the sun with new photos of him, his wife Brittany and their kids relaxing in Mexico.
The 28-year-old Mahomes has certainly earned some rest after leading the Chiefs to a third Super Bowl victory of his career last month.
And the Kansas City quarterback showed off his self-described “dad bod” at a Los Cabos resort, wearing a straw hat and a blue swimsuit.
In other photos, Mahomes can be seen holding his daughter Sterling while in another he appeared to be manning a telescope.
He and Brittany also cared for their youngest son Bronze, who was born in November 2022, while their friends were also spotted nearby.

And Brittany wore a jersey that almost exactly reflected the Chiefs’ signature colors
The NFL star’s wife, who recently revealed she had suffered a back injury, almost wore the Chiefs’ colors as she donned a red and gold jersey.
Mahomes, meanwhile, was seen in the water with his young children during the trip.
He said he had a “dad bod” the week leading up to the Super Bowl versus the 49ers, when a reporter asked him if he would rather have a six-pack or another Super Bowl win.
It was no surprise that he chose the latter option, before joking that he actually already had washboard abs.
‘I have a six-pack, it’s just below the father’s body. If you feel, there may be some skin, but underneath that is the six-pack,” he said.
‘You just have to get really close and squint a bit. I think you’ll see.’
“Dad bod” or not, the quarterback was tremendous in the Super Bowl, throwing for 333 yards and two touchdowns — including the game-clincher to Mecole Hardman in overtime.

It’s unclear who the Mahomes were with, but Brittany chatted with a friend
And Brittany could be seen lounging in a white pool chair as her friends hung nearby
She paid a lot of attention to her daughter Sterling, while her friends also took care of their children
He later returned to Las Vegas – where the game was played – to celebrate the win and party with teammate Travis Kelce.
Things seemed to calm down in Mexico, as Brittany lounged on a chair by the pool with friends.
The trip comes after Brittany revealed she is suffering from a broken back.
She linked the injury to motherhood of three-year-old Sterling and one-year-old Bronze.
“Just your daily reminder: once you have kids, take care of your pelvic floor,” Brittany posted on Instagram. ‘Serious. From: A girl with a broken back.’
‘…maybe going on holiday with my friends will make my back better?’ Brittany wrote in another post.

Since winning the Super Bowl vs. San Francisco, Mahomes has been busy.
Immediately after the game, he and his family flew to Disneyland for the customary Super Bowl MVP visit.
“The day after the Super Bowl win, grind for mom and dad, best time ever for (kids) Sterling and Bronze,” read a caption from Brittany posted weeks after the trip.
Mahomes also flew to Germany earlier this week, where he visited Adidas’ headquarters and even met Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
Mahomes has been an Adidas athlete since turning pro in 2017.
While he is currently enjoying the NFL offseason, the Chiefs will replenish their roster in next month’s NFL Draft, and he is expected back in the spring for a mandatory minicamp.
