Patrick Mahomes returns to Chiefs HQ for OTAs as Kansas City’s road to the three-peat begins with their star QB back in practice

Patrick Mahomes has returned to Chiefs headquarters and kicked off the team’s three-peat bid, with the quarterback arriving for OTAs on Tuesday.

The Chiefs will hold OTAs May 20-22, May 28-30 and June 4-7.

The off-season training is not mandatory.

The Chiefs shared a video of their star player arriving Tuesday, writing, “QB1 is back on the scene.”

Kansas City won a second straight Super Bowl when it defeated the 49ers in February.

Some Chiefs fans have lambasted Mahomes, who is known for his self-described “dad bod,” for the physique he came with.

“Bro doesn’t even have to be in shape for a three-peat,” someone wrote under the post.

“I look a bit tired and out of shape,” another added. “But still better than all the QBs, let’s go!!”

Mahomes has enjoyed a well-deserved offseason break so far, as he spent time in Mexico following his Super Bowl win and also partied in Las Vegas with teammate and friend Travis Kelce.
