Patrick Mahomes’ mom claims her NFL quarterback son may not match THIS Tom Brady feat

Patrick Mahomes’ mother – Randi – has warned NFL fans that her quarterback son may not play as long as he would like, despite the Chiefs’ star attempt to match Tom Brady’s longevity in the league.

On a recent episode of ‘The Mom Game Podcast’ this week, Randi revealed what the three-time Super Bowl champion once told her: that he’s willing to call it quits if his career gets in the way of his family.

“I hear him, you know, make comments like, ‘If the game takes me away from my kids, I might not play as long as Tom Brady,’ and I’m like, I’m so proud of him for that,” she said in a conversation with Julie Dobbs and Emily Jones.

Regarded by many as the “Greatest of All Time” (GOAT), Mahomes has won three championships with Kansas City over the past seven years, in addition to multiple individual accolades and awards, including two-time league MVP and the the league’s best offensive player of the year.

But he’s still a far cry from Brady’s seven Super Bowl rings, which the former New England Patriots quarterback managed to capture in his 23-year career.

Brady has also won the Super Bowl MVP award five times, compared to Mahomes’ three times. He has also been named MVP and NFL Offensive Player of the Year three times.

In the past, Mahomes has been vocal about saying that his family comes before his prestigious NFL career.

“I looked. If I played until Tom’s age, my daughter would be 19, 20 years old. That would mean missing a lot of youth sporting events and other commitments,” the Chiefs signal-caller explained.

And while he’d like to keep playing as long as Brady did, he admitted, “At the same time, I want to be there for my daughter. If I can do that, I’ll keep playing.
