Just a day before he led his team to yet another Super Bowl, a Patrick Mahomes game-worn jersey sold for six figures at auction.
The jersey was sold through Goldin auction house and was worn by the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback during a game against the Las Vegas Raiders during the 2022 NFL season.
This jersey from that game sold for a winning bid of $175,000, with the buyer ultimately paying a premium that brought the total to $213,500, making it Mahomes’ most expensive jersey ever sold.
In that game, the Chiefs signal caller passed for 292 yards and scored four touchdowns in a close 30-29 game during Week 10 of the season.
Kansas City would go on to win the Super Bowl that season in a narrow victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles featured Jason Kelce on their offensive line, a player who also had a game-worn jersey sold at auction this weekend.
A uniform that the center wore from a game between the Eagles and the New England Patriots during the 2019 season sold for more than $17,507 after a buyer’s premium.
That game wasn’t as successful as Mahomes’, with the Eagles losing 17-10 to the then-reigning Super Bowl champions.
Just a day later, another NFL player had a jersey sold at auction: Hall of Fame voting member Antonio Gates.
The former Chargers great had sold a uniform from the 2016 season through the same auction house for $7,320.
