Patrick Mahomes has pulled the Royals’ Game 3 against the Yankees after claiming it could spark a “feud” with his wife Brittany.
The Kansas City Royals host a crucial game against New York in the ALDS, and Mahomes clearly wanted to be there to strengthen his hometown team.
But he suggested attending the game could cause problems with his wife Brittany after the Chiefs beat the Saints last weekend.
“It’s bye week, so Brittany is on vacation and I’m going to the Royals game. We’ll argue for sure,” Mahomes said.

Nevertheless, Mahomes was spotted at the game when his brother Jackson posted a photo of them both wearing Royals jerseys.
The series is limited to one game each.
