Patrick and Brittany Mahomes throw ‘Tea for Three’ butterfly-themed birthday party for daughter Sterling Skye at Dallas’ Botanical Garden: ‘We love you baby girl!’
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes had another reason to celebrate this weekend when the couple celebrated daughter Sterling Skye’s third birthday with an extravagant butterfly-themed “Tea for Three” party at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden.
In a video posted to Instagram, the reigning Super Bowl MVP’s eldest laughs and plays with other young children aboard a series of slides, Merry Go Rounds and an inflatable bounce house. Young Sterling can also be seen sipping from a teacup, but it’s impossible to tell whether she was drinking Earl Grey, English breakfast, Darjeeling or something more age appropriate.
“We celebrated our Sterling Skye today!” Brittany wrote in her Instagram post on Sunday. “I can’t even believe we’re going to have a three-year-old in just a few days!” Time flies when you’re having fun! We love you, baby girl.β
Determining the price for the party is difficult without knowing the exact number of guests, but the tea set at the Arboretum costs about $60 per person β and that’s without the associated birthday parties.
The Mahomes family returned to their native Dallas last week for celebrations following the shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl rally that left one woman dead and at least 22 injured. All surviving victims have since been released from hospital. Two teenagers have been charged as minors in the shooting.
