The Chiefs are playing on Christmas Day again – after losing to the Las Vegas Raiders last year – meaning the Kansas City quarterback had to hit the road the night Santa Claus came to town.
He and his wife Brittany posed for photos with their two young children — daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 2 — during their last Christmas as a family of four.
Brittany is pregnant with their third child, and she and Patrick will welcome their second girl in early 2025.
Chiefs fans are hoping her due date doesn’t collide with the postseason as Mahomes prepares to lead Kansas City’s bid for an unprecedented third straight Super Bowl title.

Mahomes landed with his team in Pittsburgh on Tuesday afternoon. He stepped off the team plane in a blue suit and showed no signs of the ankle sprain he has been battling in recent weeks.
He dealt with the issue last week against the Cleveland Browns, but showed nothing of concern on Saturday against the Houston Texans.
Brittany, meanwhile, usually travels to road races to cheer on her husband, but it is unknown if she will make the trip on Christmas Day.
After Wednesday’s game, the Chiefs will have a short break before closing out the regular season in Denver against the Broncos.
