The Pat McAfee Show came under fire Thursday for spoiling a first-round NFL draft pick, despite the cast knowing it would “ruffle” a few feathers by doing so.

After it emerged that it was Miami’s turn to be on the clock with the No. 21 overall pick, McAfee, whose “The Pat McAfee Show Draft Spectacular” was streamed on ESPN+, the ESPN app, YouTube and TikTok, immediately revealed that he would do this correctly. predicting who the Dolphins would select, and his co-hosts then gave the audience a few clues that traced back to Penn State edge rusher Chop Robinson.

At one point, even former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, who was the only guest on McAfee’s show during draft night, said Robinson’s name.

Before Belichick could drop his name, however, McAfee had initially said no one could reveal Miami’s roster for the show because there had been “a little bit of ruffled feathers.”

Ty Schmit, another panelist on McAfee’s show, then said, “F**k ’em,” followed by Connor Campbell, who goes by Boston Connor during the show and asks McAfee what he had for dinner on Wednesday.

“Did you have steak?” Campbell asked. ‘Did you have chicken? Did you have pork chops?’

McAfee then said he prefers the end of the chop with another person on set, describing that as the “edge” area before Anthony DiGuilio, who goes by Tone Digs on the show, dropped a very subtle hint.

“I think Mr. Robinson was the guy who served it to us,” he said, before the group started singing the Simon & Garfunkel song.

About 10 seconds later, Belichick was berated by McAfee for predicting Robinson as the pick.

“Don’t do that, Bill!” McAfee jokingly shouted at the 72-year-old, who replied: I gambled, I gambled!’

Meanwhile, Belichick also revealed on Thursday that he will appear weekly on The McAfee Show starting this fall as he has yet to be hired for a head coaching vacancy this season.

The six-time super champion left the Patriots, who drafted former UNC QB Drake Maye on Thursday, after 24 years at the helm in January. Maye was the third overall pick this year.
