Both Felisberto and Inalda were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Felisberto was a pastor for 12 years at the Assembly of God Church in Quixaba, Paraíba.

The family lived in Campina Grande and spent a couple of days in the Paraiban city of Lucena.

The tragic death of the couple was mourned by parishioners, including Leonardo Meneses, pastor of a church that Felisberto and Inalda attended frequently.

‘I know that the circumstances are painful and difficult for us to understand; only eternity will explain all the mysteries of life,’ he said.
