Part of false heiress Anna Delvey’s East Village apartment building is condemned by New York officials

Part of false heiress Anna ‘Delvey’ Sorokin’s East Village apartment building has been condemned by New York City officials.

The fraudster, 32, is under house arrest in a fifth-floor Manhattan apartment that costs $4,250 a month.

Not long ago, Sorokin, who was immortalized in Netflix’s Inventing Anna, was used to spending her nights in posh hotels like The Standard, High Line, where rooms range from $351 a night to $2,097 suites.

In stark contrast to her lavish lifestyle, she says a “partial eviction notice” has been posted on the doorway of her apartment building. Page six.

It reads: ‘The Ministry of Buildings has determined that the conditions in this building are imminently life-threatening.

“This property has been vacated and no return is permitted until such conditions are resolved to the satisfaction of the department. Violators of this… order may be arrested.”

Sources close to Sorokin have told the publication that only the garbage chute is out of order.

They claim that the “partial” part of the eviction order means that neither they nor the other residents of the block can use the parachute until it is repaired.

A message from the landlord reads, “Please note that the evacuation order posted on the building is for the garbage shaft area. We will temporarily move the waste from that location until the area is repaired.”

Russian-born Sorokin spent two years in prison after being charged with grand larceny and theft of services.

Despite being sentenced to four years in prison in April 2019, she was released on good behavior and given a short period of freedom until she was arrested again for overstaying her visa.

During her house arrest, which requires her to stay in her home and wear an ankle bracelet at all times, Sorokin has been seen posing for photo shoots and speaking to the media at her East Village condo on several occasions.

She won’t let the disability stop her social life and said last year that she will bring her elite circle of friends to her for intimate dinner parties every month.

Sorokin describes her weekly visit to the parole office as her “Tinder” because everyone is always asking if she’s a model or famous, she told The Cut at the time.

Her house arrest is indefinite and she has no access to social media or her own credit card and must have an accountant.

In December, it was revealed that the fake heiress was punished while in New York State’s Albion Correctional Facility for “tampering” the unflattering tan outfit she was forced to wear.

A source close to her said she was “just trying to be fashionable,” but she broke the rules and was banned from recreation or receiving packages for 10 days as punishment for her violation.

The source said Sorokin tailored her prison clothes to “fit her better because they were too big and baggy.”

In another incident, Sorokin lost her privileges and was imprisoned for two weeks after giving false information to a prison guard and disobeying an order.

The incidents show Sorokin having a bumpy landing after being convicted of financial crimes four years ago for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from hotels, private jet companies and her best friend.

In March, DailyMail.com exclusively revealed that Sorokin’s former lawyer had collapsed in court and had to be taken away in an ambulance.

Sorokin is taking on her former attorney Audrey Thomas in Manhattan civil court, who she says is withholding court records that the convicted fraudster needs to challenge her deportation case.

As the proceedings got underway, Thomas burst into tears and exclaimed, “My heart aches! I need an ambulance!’
